You will also help to engage other teams to onboard their services for data ingestion into the platform, aide in the tooling for analysis of the data, as well as transforming the data when needed to make it useful.In this role, your responsibilities will include:Managing Information Security related logging InfrastructureAnalyzing and improving availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance of Information Security systemsEvaluating and recommending new and emerging systems and technologiesDeveloping and maintaining operations tools to improve upon data ingestion, transformation and presentationParticipating in on-call incident responseMentoring junior members of the team
Professional experience in a systems engineering / administration roleExperience in deploying and supporting database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)Experience in deploying and supporting Splunk in a production environmentExperience with AWS products and servicesExperience developing software or services using Python or other similar languageExperience working with configuration management tools such as Ansible and CloudformationExperience involved (in a development, QA testing, or security role) with development team(s) that delivered commercial software or software-based services
