JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACTThe Senior Employee Experience Specialist will serve in crushing plant and port complex- Villa Gob.
Galvez- as a member of the human resource solutions team.
This position is responsible for being the primary point of contact for plant leadership for people and culture topics.
In this role, you will use human resources knowledge to ensure the delivery of services such as production staffing, onboarding and assimilation, local training, performance management, engagement, supervisor capability and operational workforce planning.
You will also help execute and deliver employee relations services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESBe the primary point of contact for plant leadership for people and culture topics.Be a member of plant leadership meetings to consult plant leaders appropriately.Work with plant teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build people capability, shape and implement effective plant level people strategies.Act as an HR conduit for activities not possible to service on-site, involving other HR experts where needed.Align plant level HR agenda with country, regional and global HR priorities.Educate and enable plant leadership and all managers on all people processes, procedures and tools to allow the people managers to do their job.Proactively facilitate issue resolution on HR topics such as employee performance, employee engagement, hiring and retention, supervisor capability and operational workforce planning.Talent management; provide inputs on key leadership for the plant, in collaboration with Business HR Leaders.Pilot the People and Culture reporting for the plant locations leveraging the HR tools and dashboards.QUALIFICATIONSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and implement HR processes and client focused solutions.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and lead by influence.Minimum of four years of related work experience.Experience anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity.Demonstrated strong business acumen.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExcellent English communication skills.Experience designing and delivering training/education sessions for employees.Experience in working with HR partners outside of business location.Experience working in a union environment, and managing grievance processes.Experience conducting investigations, anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions.
