Main Purpose
Professional consulting on event planning to maximize the event's impact and return on investment. Responsible for key events with medium /high complexity, sensitive content and/ or important groups of attendees to guarantee the expected level of quality, ensure compliance and manage event spend responsibly.
Report data in EDM tools for management purposes and collaborate with business reviews in partnership with EDM LATAM team.

Your mission will be to
Build strong, trusted relationships with Event (Budget) Owners. Provide strategic guidance during the early stages of event planning by challenging proposed budgets and activity concepts to help align events with defined business objectives.
Collaborate closely with business partners in Brazil and across LATAM to ensure the effective implementation of event strategies and adherence to established guidelines.
Propose and/or introduce innovative event formats by leveraging best practices from previous events, as well as current market and industry trends.
Oversee third-party event agencies at the individual event level, ensuring alignment with internal processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
Support the evaluation of third-party event planners' on-site performance by providing structured feedback, resolving issues, gathering input from Event Owners, and offering recommendations based on findings.
Provide active guidance to third-party agencies on administrative tasks such as expense reconciliation and budget management. When applicable, ensure accurate data submission for Transfer-of-Value reporting.

Unlock your potential
Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in event management within the life sciences industry; pharmaceutical sector experience is a strong advantage.
In-depth knowledge of national and/or international Pharma Codes and compliance regulations.
Proven expertise in end-to-end event service operations, including planning, negotiation, and execution of complex events and associated activities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams or squads, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
Skilled in managing third-party event agency staff, ensuring alignment with work objectives, quality expectations, and compliance standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and challenge the status quo.
Reliable, assertive, and confident, with a creative and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
Customer- and team-oriented, with a focus on cost-efficiency and quality outcomes.
Proficient in digital media, Microsoft Office applications, and meeting/event management platforms—preferably Cvent.
Willingness to travel frequently to support event execution and stakeholder engagement.
Digital mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experienced in developing and delivering impactful presentations.
