DescriptionA project involves the development and maintenance of a media TV streaming application for a US TV streaming network headquartered in New York, US.
The company has existing media streaming applications for iOS and Android platforms and aims to develop a new Chromecast application.
RequirementsRequired: 4+ years of commercial programming experience developing JavaScript/TypeScript applications and user interfaces.3+ years experience with React.js, Redux, Next.js, and a strong foundation in core React.js principles.Highly proficient in JavaScript / ES6 and the Document Object Model.Experience with front-end development tools such as Gulp, Webpack, Esbuild, NPM, and Yarn.Experience with implementing RESTful API interfaces.Experience writing unit tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or equivalents.Good written and verbal English skills for communication with international team members.Nice to have: Experience with analytics libraries (e.g., Conviva, ComScore, Yobora, Nielsen, Heartbeat, MediaMelon).Experience with TV streaming applications.Experience with video player components (e.g., Video.js, THEOplayer).Experience with subscriptions or e-commerce systems.Experience with GraphQL.Job responsibilitiesBuild innovative features for the media streaming CTV application for JS-based platforms (Vizio, Tizen, Flex).Code, test, document, and deliver features with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.Determine the strategic and tactical direction of the front-end architecture.Participate in Agile development processes, including scoping, technical design, estimation, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support.Collaborate with program managers, marketing, designers, and software engineers to build and enhance the UI.Innovate and create the best online user experience.What we offerCulture of caring: At GlobalLogic, we prioritize a caring culture, fostering acceptance and belonging, with opportunities to build meaningful connections with teammates and leaders.
