We're looking for a wellrounded software developer/engineer with experience in scalable webbased applications and backoffice automation. This individual will work with a small team of very experienced software developers responsible for multiple online marketing tools used by our customers. Key traits include the ability to perform multiple roles in the application development process including: systems architecture and design, coding and implementation, maintenance and support.
They are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual interested in an opportunity to take ownership of key project work in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with development of scalable PHP web applications.
Be involved in all aspects of the development process.
Think creatively and develop technically innovative solutions.
Accurately size project work and meet deadlines.
Work independently and collaborate team members as needed.
Required Skills:
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
3/4+ Years of experience in PHP and OOP.
Experience on any PHPMVC framework (Laravel is a plus).
Experience with Javascript frameworks (preferably VueJS).
Solid SQL skills (MSSQL/MySQL), ability to create proper data models, write basic stored procedures and complex query usage.
Knowledge over Linux implementations of Apache+PHP, modules, configuration and troubleshooting will be greatly appreciated.
Good knowledge of web standards including HTML and CSS.
Understanding of common API messaging standards including JSON/XML and REST services.
Good communication and organization skills.
Willing to learn new things and develop skills with different technologies.
Experience working with Agile methodologies is a big plus.
