The person in this role will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of the product.
The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with our junior talent, coaching them professionally, teaching them best practices, and showing them the way to become astute and creative software professionals.
Responsibilities
? Analysis, design and development according to the Product Owner directive
? Code inspections: Ensure that the code applies best practices
? Develop procedures for automated unit testings.
? Generate technical documents for the on-boarding plan of new members
? Share knowledge within the company
? Help new members understand the business rules of Convey as the way the code is structured
? Lead other team members to growth and success
? Be an example to others in terms of commitment to the company goals
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following education, work experience, and abilities:
? Bachelor's Degree in related field/discipline preferred.
? English intermediate (written and verbal).
? Minimum of 4 years of work experience.
? Experience with Agile and SCRUM development philosophies.
? Demonstrated experience on one or more of the following languages: Delphi, Oracle, Transact-SQL, PL/SQL
? Continued education in their given development domain
? Can effectively cope with change and manage stressful situations
? Proven planning, priority setting, time management, and decision making skills
? Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
? Ability to troubleshoot problems under pressure
