Role Summary:
Responsible for operational excellence, service readiness and continuous monitoring performance of service operations in wind farms provided by GE. Plan operational aspects, monitor the performance indicators of services, analyze data and provide actionable insights to all necessary functions in order to maximize energy production and service productivity.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Partner with all functions to plan the service operational aspects of new projects
• Be an active member in driving operational excellence helping service team to deliver results
• Monitoring of service performance indicators from a daily to a yearly basis
• Provide actionable insights to required functions
• Analyze operational data identifying performance issues and predicting future performance
• Drive prioritization of tasks, containment and corrective actions based on current and forecasted performance
• Provide inputs to the planning and execution teams
• Analyze root causes of lack of availability or gaps in turbines and service performance
• Data analysis, verification and failure analysis
• Work closely with reliability team in the identification of potential breakdown through available tools
• Continuous WTG and service performance optimization / improvements - Monitor and analyze performance KPIs at site level. Support site teams to mitigate availability losses and down time
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Data Science from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years industrial experience with service data analytics and performance metrics
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience in maintenance services in the industry
• Proficiency with tools used to data analytics and reporting
• Analytical skills
• Experience in developing and monitoring field services performance metrics
• Knowledge and clear understanding of commercial levers for contractual obligation (and how to manage them over the duration of the contract)
• Ability to direct complex daily activity of multiple work streams, focused on issue resolution
• Possess a clear understanding of the utilization of risk management and risk / reward optimization
• BA or BS degree in Engineering preferred
