Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect for High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence for Europe, Middle East and Africa, to guide our regional architects and also engage directly in client projects.
You will define our technical HPC&AI strategy for the Geo, build and manage our relationships with clients and connected teams and directly support customer opportunities for business growth.
This position requires a deep knowledge of HPC technologies, workflows and deployments as well as the industry in order to provide the leadership to the team. The EMEA HPC Architect also influences the future product roadmaps by collaborating with product management teams and create solutions using a combination of hardware, software, and third party offerings.
It is a customer facing role and requires the skill set necessary to lead effective interactions for gathering customer requirements, demonstrating solution expertise, and communicating value of the HPC solutions in this segment.
Key Responsibilities
• Functional lead of Lenovo HPC&AI architects in EMEA
• Evolve HPC Solution Design Methodology and drive architectural excellency
• Technical lead in the most complex EMEA HPC engagements
• Present technology, proposals, results and value to our clients
• Collaborate with clients in HPC Innovation Center understanding and prototyping new technologies
• Collaborate with marketing/business development teams in scoping out new opportunities
• Make recommendations to hardware and software teams on developing appropriate products and solutions
Position Requirements
Qualifications
• Master in Computer Science or Engineering
• 10+ year experience in High Performance Computing
• 10+ year experience in Solution Design
• Expertise in hardware and architectures including accelerators
• Expertise in software architecture and development
• Expertise in data center infrastructure, cooling and power consumption
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English, a second European language is a plus
