Role Summary:
The Site Scheduler provides planning and scheduling leadership and direction for the project site under the guidance of the PS. In some cases, depending on the complexity of the project, the project phase or the experience of the scheduler PS and SS roles may be covered by 1 individual.
Essential Responsibilities:
Key scheduling interface to the site manager, site team, consortium partner and PS for all site schedule related matters
If applicable, oversees site scheduling team and their deliverables
Ensure timely and accurate site schedule and construction monitoring system updates, analyses and reports
Ensure adherence of site scheduling activities to GPS scheduling procedures
Prepare site:specific procedures for scheduling and construction monitoring system implementation in consultation with the site manager
Lead development and updating of the site schedule and contractor schedules (TKSI), and ensures proper interfacing of the site schedule with the integrated project schedule and the construction monitoring system
Coordinate with project management, consortium partners (TKP), subcontractors (TKSI) and customer to obtain and validate progress and schedule data, aiming at accurately maintain and update the schedule
Generate periodic time schedule reports, identifies delays and critical paths, and recommends recovery scenarios and acceleration schedules
Lead daily/weekly coordination meetings, interactive planning and accurate forecast assessments
Develop what:if scenarios and special schedule analysis as required
Oversee preparation of all site scheduling reports
Coordinate all handovers from the various site functions, and regularly communicate schedule priorities and look:ahead based on CPM analysis and Site Managers input
Maintain the history of project execution for commercial / contractual purposes such as claims support, and for the benefit of future projects
When applicable, lead and motivate the site scheduling team through open communication of principles, objectives, targets, processes, and constructive feedback
Elevate concerns where project specific decisions put key completion dates at risk, have resource and cost implications, or could result in delays
Set priorities according to agreed targets with site management team and PS
Work with Primavera P6 Software and Ms Project
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management)
