The Upstream Technical Computing Applications team delivers industry:leading business capabilities and computational sciences through proprietary, commercial:grade software. The Software Developer collaborates with internal customers and other software development teams to deliver software solutions to ExxonMobils Upstream business.
Were currently looking for C++ or .NET developers who are eager to work in an interdisciplinary team with Mechanical/Chemical Engineers, Geologists and Geoscientists to implement and enhance Upstream business scientific software applications.

Job Role Responsibilities 13;
As a software developer your job responsibilities will include multiple activities such as work planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support. Our developers work on projects that go from small teams of a few developers working directly with our domain experts on relatively small applications to large teams working on complex software platforms used for the different domains of the Upstream. Daily activities encompass coming up with solutions to challenging problems in our existing products, helping deliver new research technologies to our engineers, geologists and geoscientists via software and working directly with them to make sure that the tools they have meet their needs.

Job Requisitions:
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university. The following degrees apply:
* Software Engineering/Systems Engineering/Computing Engineering/Licentiate in Information Analysis (preferred)
* Computer Science
* Electronics Engineering
Technical Skills
* Strong object oriented programming and design, familiarity with basic data structures
* Knowledge of design patterns and best practices, code testing
* Knowledge or experience in agile working methodologies
Semi Sr/Senior C++ developer
* Strong knowledge of C++ and native languages programming. Basic familiarity with managed languages (.NET or Java)
* Experience on debugging and optimizing native code, and working on large applications
Semi Sr/Senior .NET developer
* Knowledge of Microsoft technologies .NET/C (or strong experience in Java)
* Worked on back:end services or business logic implementations
Other Skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
* Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

Desired Skills
* Experience working with .NET desktop frameworks (WinForms, WPF)
