SUMMARY The Backend Engineer plays a crucial role in building and maintaining high-quality product features for our platform application.
This role is part of the Platform Community, with hiring and technology policies defined and owned by the Engineering Manager. REPORTS TO Engineering Manager JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain high-quality product features for applications using Node.jsCollaborate with the product team and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of the Engage Module with the frontend applicationActively participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code qualityParticipate in interview panels related to platform development hiringContribute to the Platform Community, sharing knowledge and helping to shape hiring and technology policiesWork closely with the Engineering Manager, following the guidelines and direction provided by the Engineering ManagerTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issuesThe duties and responsibilities outlined above are not a comprehensive list, and additional tasks may be assigned based on business needs.
