Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

:Responsible for all aspects of stations operating in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and/or any other country assigned
:Oversee and provide long:term strategic direction to the airports, establishing and maintaining the highest possible standards in the areas of: safety, security, operating metrics, customer service, financial performance and competitive position all while remaining in compliance with Company regulations
:Take responsibility of executing the transformation of American Airlines culture in the region employing the new Leadership Attributes: caring, collaboration, development, results and future
:Validate the trust by ensuring a rewarding, inclusive and supportive work environment
:Elevate American Airlines image by ensuring performance and customer service excellence through the continuous training, development and support to our GMs and team members in the region
:Manage, select and develop General Managers and field station management staff
:Hold General Managers accountable for corporate and industry compliance goals in the following areas: flight security and safety, all operating metrics, departure dependability, baggage handling performance and customer services
:Ensure field stations have the tools and resources necessary to operate effectively and efficiently
:Meet regularly with General Managers and field station team members to ensure that operations are being executed in accordance with the organizations overall goals, strategies, budget, policies and plans
:Collaborate effectively by creating an efficient communication and liaison with Sales, Accounting, Finance, Reservations, Tech Ops, Cargo, Premium Services, Security, People Department and other divisional teams and departments as necessary for the success of American Airlines goals
:Responsible in supporting government affairs in assigned countries, by establishing a workable set of controls and relationship with regulatory agencies as American Airlines representative. Ensures all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, national and applicable federal regulations and laws governing business operations
:Represent American Airlines on regional industry affairs and to negotiate and influence spending on airport related projects
:Represent his/her workgroup in its relationship with airport management, outside regulatory bodies, suppliers, competitors, other government agencies, professional organizations, and similar groups
:Collaborate with customer services teams across Latin America to continuously seek areas for improvement and to develop and implement joint procedures
:Work closely with JB and One World partners to develop and implement joint ventures to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
:Champion initiatives and diverse projects to ensure the best outcome for the Company
:Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the post 13;
