Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to be located in Buenos Aires Argentina and report to the Finance Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform monthly closing activities with a concentration in Trade Spend
Monthly P&L analysis and KPI reporting with robust analytics and variance analysis to identify key insights
Liaison with Business Partners on accounting questions; perform research and provide proper recommendations & analytics
Actively participate in monthly Accounting Meetings which include Controller, CFO & Finance team.
Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and associated analysis; Participate in quarterly Balance Sheet review with Controller & Retail CFO
Accountable for reviewing quarterly magnitude reporting schedules
Participate in monthly internal Trade Spend and/or Marketing Audits in addition to annual audits
Participate in monthly Finance WOR
Support testing & training activities related to Trade Spend Management tool.
Other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements
Key qualifications include:
BA/BS in Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus, CPG experience preferred
English as the second language is a must
Knowledge/ understanding of General Accounting (GAAP and/or IAS); Perform research and propose recommendations
Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact on a daily basis with a variety of cross-functional business partners
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to act independently and make decisions
Ability to prioritize and manage changing responsibilities while adhering to deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (a must), Word and PowerPoint; SAP, Oracle Financials a plus
