Sr Actuary

We are looking for a Sr Actuary for our Global Actuarial Team (GAM), which is responsible for developing models for all countries where the company is located. MetLife has business in the regions of Latin America (LatAm), USA. UU., EMEA and Asia.

The challenge of this position will be to lead different projects abaout Actuarial Modeling

Key Responsibilities:

:
Play a key central role for Global Actuarial Modeling (GAM) in large global financial transformation projects

:
Interpret, document and at times support the development of methodology for new reporting basis.
:
Provide modeling guidance considering requirements from accounting standards or from senior management

:
Support GAM in assimilating new technologies: Work on use cases to show the advantages and disadvantages of new technologies.

Act as a trusted advisor to actuarial resources on a number of areas:

EV

IFRS
:
Support refining of business requirements

:
Provide support on Prophet Modelling within various projects

Requirements:

:
Actuarial Degree
:
5 or more years of experience
:
Strong written and oral communication skills
:
Advanced analytical skills
:
Advanced English level
:
Project driven mindset

Nice:to:have

:
Project and people management.
:
Experience in presenting to groups communicating technical issues to non:technical audiences
:
An understanding of actuarial reporting software such as Prophet and a good ability to code in programming languages
:
Experience with Solvency II, IFRS, USGAAP, EEV and/or MCEV modeling and reporting
:
Experience of life insurance
