Published Description: Our client is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to assist in developing implementation patterns across natural language and generative AI practices. You will be responsible for delivering systems design and architecture, documenting requirements, and making design decisions.
Salary: $160-$180K
Responsibilities: Lead delivery teams and clearly delineate parallel work-streamsLead discovery sessions with clients and carefully navigate requirement discussions to avoid designs requiring additional scopeSupport pre-sales discussions and assist pre-sales engineers to identify scope issues and clearly define assumptions for LOEsDrive reusable code and solution architecture practiceApply cloud architecture and application design knowledgeAssist the sales team with potential clientsDocument requirements and design decisionsEnsure coding practices result in clean, reusable code to consistently mature the delivery practiceRequired Qualifications: Applied ML Engineer: We need someone who is not only a Data Scientist but also has strong Software Engineering fundamentals including code quality, CI/CD, data integrations, and production lifecycleCustom ML Experience: Experience with EDA, fine-tuning, and training is essentialMultimodal Unstructured Data: Understanding of video, audio, documents, and text data is requiredGenAI and LLM Architectures: Experience with these, including model orchestration. We will be building RAGs infused with LLMs for generating embeddings and responding with human-like answersCloud Platform: Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery, GCS, etc.) is preferred, but experience with any cloud platform is acceptableProgramming: Proficiency in Python, related frameworks, including unit testing and maintaining code quality. The use case involves video content processing, such as the identification of frames based on emotions, music, script, audio, etc. The first phase is to implement RAG, and then evolve into a producer-editor centric tool7+ years of experience as a ML EngineerBachelor's Degree is preferred but will consider relevant experience as an equivalentStrong foundation in NLP, vision, and generative AIVertex AI, Vertex Search and ConversationsDialogflow CXVision AI and OCRCloud Text-to-Speech, Cloud Speech-to-TextCloud Translation, GlossariesPythonVector storesLangchainData Loss PreventionCICD best practices, especially with complexity of CCAI and/or PSO engagements
