What you’ll be doing
Summary Description:
Ensure all scanning and processing activities are performed and policy/regulatory requirements are met during the migration and the BAU period as well. Providing compliance with the SLA and towards the management, takes responsibility after the transition in the day to day operation. Managing team members if any, providing them the necessary training and coaching, people management, activities and ensure due dates, policy and regulatory requirements are met.
Supports or reports financial performance of defined business area.
Key Responsibilities:
Works primarily under supervision, but prioritises work stack and adapts to changing priorities. Responsible for personal output with autonomy to plan and execute own work. Specialist roles work with high level of authority only seeking appropriate support where necessary
Supporting the team, and personally taking part in scanning and processing activities during the migration and later on in the BAU period in the designated country. Supervise all activities transferred to team for the in-country deadlines.
Drive service excellenceto deliver ‘number one’ for customer service.
Ensure customer is supplied with adequate and accurate financial informationon a timely basis
Ensure manuals/documentations are up to date
Develop appropriate procedures to improve efficiency
Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement
Initiate/participate projects in order to improve processes
Take full ownership of issues and queries and ensure they are fully resolved in an efficient and effective manner, and according to agreed SLAs.
Take personal ownership of customer feedbackand issues, escalate where necessary.
Build effective relationships across area
Proactive issue resolution regarding global process issues
Apply special support for sensitive customers
Keep daily contact with in-countries finance team
Accountable for regulatory and SOX controlsare in place and executed and documented properly.
Support the daily work of the team
Ensure internal requesters are provided with adequate and accurate financial information on a timely manner
Co-operate and build good relationship with colleagues in the team and across other functions involved in the process.
Work together with colleagues to share information, collaborate on problem resolution
Provide relevant financial information to management
Comply with all company mandatory requirements and policies (HR, SOX, etc.)
Extend knowledge of procedures and issues within team
Owns and manages medium size processes. Responsible for improvements to these processes in line with customer requirements.
Obtain deep knowledge about relevant global accounting processes
Prepares for audits and provides all necessary data and explanation to auditors.

Duties are linked to the instruction and supervision of team members.
Staff the team with capable people, release employees if that becomes necessary
Ensure team members are adequately trained, encourage development of skills, ensure backup structure is in place.
Set SMART operational objectives for team and give adequate guidance and supervision. Create an environment that encourages excellence; recognize and reward initiative, imagination, and work well done.
Conduct performance reviews in line with BT policies
Regular coaching and feedback to team members in a professional way
Ensure administrative tasks are done on time (e.g. timesheet submissions, performance documents are up to date, sick leave forms submitted, mandatory trainings, Clean desk policy, health&safety etc.)
Setting out job related targets, expectations in the job descriptions
Assisting the integration of new team members
Addressing team members’ individual job related problems, complaints
Coordinating central and general trainings
Setting out individual targets for team members
Carrying out periodic one-to-one performance evaluations
Approving time reports
Negotiating the dates of annual leaves, holidays
Ordering overtime and coordination thereof with the Line Manager
Approving assets and licenses/authorisations
