We are looking for a self-starter programmer who will make the role their own to join our team. Programmers provide advanced scripting and technical expertise to support our clients in their market research requirements through highly engaging and interactive platforms.
In this role, you will…
Provide authoring / scripting support for online surveys to internal and external clients using survey creation platforms
Manage shifting priorities and timelines
Work closely with the project management / research team to ensure client needs are understood and met
Assist in developing tools and processes for internal use
What would you need?
Experience with object oriented programming in at least one of the following languages: C#, C++, Lua, Java. These are your bread and butter, so we are looking for someone with a good solid base, willing to keep learning with a good proficiency level.
Strong knowledge of front end web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery
Understanding of web programming concepts: REST, AJAX, COMET, asynchronous programming
Some programming experience with Web Applications
Knowledge around multiple browsers and different compatibilities
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
And ideally, you…
Will be a team player with great communication skills
Will have experience with managing multiple projects with varying and changing priorities, as well as tight timelines. You work (and play!) hard
Will have strong logic and problem solving ability also strong attention to detail
Additional Skills:
NET, XML, Web Service, Flash, PHP, MS-SQL, MySQL
Previous experience in market research or data analysis
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and image editing
