Role Overview:
As an Engineering Manager role the person will be an integral part of the Security Operations Group – and will be reporting into Director , Engineering. To be successful in this role you should have exceptional leadership , communication and project management skills with multiple years of management experience and belief in developing the skills and talents of others. The role includes responsibility for product development, process, high level designs . and project management.
About the Role:
You will lead and manage a team of senior software engineers and architects
You will motivate, oversee, coach and grow the scrum teams as appropriate
You will provide direct, honest, and constructive developmental feedback to achieve high performance and career growth
You will work with senior management and peers to develop practices which lead to the highest quality products and drive transformation change
Also you will work with architects to design and implement complex software solutions
About You:
You have strong business acumen and agility within a large, matrix organization
You have the ability to listen, adopt and influence are essentials
You have strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a team
You have 10+ years of related software engineering experience with at least 3 having been in a management capacity.
You have proven experience directly managing a growing team of software engineers within with an Agile environment
You have ability to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
