Technical Analyst

The Technical Analyst is a hands-on resource with experience developing and supporting technical solutions. The Technical Analyst is accountable to develop database scripts, support integration using API, troubleshoot incidents, configuration of new functionality in the software, as well as support testing activities. Ideal candidates must show versatility, showing skills and willingness to understand and support the software from functional point of view, mapping business process to the software features.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

- Develop reports and scripts using SQL statement

- Support integrations using API in .NET Technologies

- Configure new requirements in the backend

- Develop small pieces of code to implement custom requirements not supported in Core (either in .Net or SQL)

- Troubleshoots infrastructure and environments issues

- Support testing activities before rolling out initiatives to productions: design new test cases, train users, support incidents

- Troubleshoot incidents reported by the business users in production from holistic point of view. Work together with other technical teams (infrastructure, DBA and other satellite applications) to troubleshoot incidents.

Qualifications

Must Have

- Minimum two years’ experience as an analyst on full life cycle software development efforts

- Background in .NET (C# or VB.NET), SQL and programming

- General knowledge of Windows platform

- Experience with Industrial-standard data-transfer protocols (Ftp, http, telnet, SOAP, etc.) and associated tools

- Very good communication skills

- Hand-on attitude

- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a college or advanced students

- Intermediate English proficiency preferred (verbal and written)

Nice to have

- Intermediate knowledge of databases. Oracle preferred.

- Experience or knowledge in the following technologies: Software as a Service, Redis, Elastic Stack, AWS, Oracle Cloud

- Experience in performing mission-critical database conversions using 4GL tools

- Experience in Pay Media, Telecommunications, Billing Systems highly desirable.

- Experience in implementing ERPs, Billing, CRM or mission critical systems
