We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to ensure the high quality of Olapic's platform across the complete production process. We love beautiful and easy to use websites backed by reliable and scalable systems. We are working with hundreds of customers, exponential traffic growth and millions of impressions per month, so your work will be seen and used by millions of people.
What you'll be doing:
Requirements analysis.
Definition of the test cases.
Automation of the Backend Test cases.
Automation of the Data Pipeline Test cases.
What we're looking for:
+4 years of experience in backend development (some experience in Python is required).
+3 years of experience automating test cases in any web language (like Python, PHP, JS)
+2 year of experience designing, planning and executing test cases.
Experience using testing frameworks (like JUnit, NUnit, XUNit and TestNG)
Deep knowledge of software design patterns.
Experience with software development best practices.
Experience with Unix-like operating systems (macOS, Ubuntu, etc)
Experience using version control systems (like git), dependency management tools (composer, npm, pip) and build systems.
Experience using Continuous Integration servers (like Jenkins)
Functional testing knowledge
Fluent written and oral English skills
Experience with some BDD automation framework (JBehave, Behat, Cucumber)
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience working with agile methodologies and related tools (like Jira)
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you own your part of the product.
ISTQB certifications is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
Experience working with complex data and statistics is a plus.
