Job Description

Role is responsible for North America Benefits Administration support (health and Welfare), working closely with Benefits Center managed by mayor external vendors to ensure benefits programs are administered according to the parameters of the Country. Goal is to become Subject Matter Expert for North America provincial benefits as well as client benefit programs.

Main tasks are:

o Benefits Mailbox: Daily checking, reassigning or responding to queries as necessary. Managing the daily activities of the mailbox which also includes uploading pension statements to the SharePoint as they come in; populating and passing on demographics info for RRSP enrolments; sending benefits terminations to Smart Employee Benefits (ben admin vendor)

o BenTrack: Complete the benefits plan updates at year end.

o GHIP Enrolments: End to end enrolment of primarily GCP employees into this temporary bridge plan (covers employees during the 3 month waiting period before their government health coverage takes effect). She sends enrolment info to GCP new hires from new hire report, forward completed application to vendor and then provide coverage confirmation to employees once application is approved. There are a lot of activities around the enrolments including follow ups with PeopleMobility on work permit durations

o Review Benefits Enrollment Instructions/Timeline for Transitions

o Point of contact for Optional Life/Dependent Spouse Life Insurance reports, Disability report and Data templates (including Canada)

o Prepare benefit cost comparison analysis and coordinate data for medical deductible reimbursement

o Responsible for new employee’s enrollment and or registration in benefits programs.

o Act as Point of contact for North America employees and third party vendors, including Point of contact to Alight for liaison to set up Transition enrollment call

o Run benefits comparisons for acquisitions

A professional at this position level has the following responsibilities:

- Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

- Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.

- Primary upward interaction is with direct clients. May interact with peers and/or management levels inside (employees, different teams) and outside Accenture (vendors).

Technical and Personal Skills

- University degree.

- Advanced level of English (MUST)

- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills. (MUST)

- Benefits experience (nice to have)

- Excel (intermediate level)

- Nice to have: SAP.

Type of Experience

- At least five or seven years of experience in a similar position

- Advanced skills/knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA and Access
