Translation Department Support Specialist

Requirements:- Be extremely organized and have great time-management skills
- Work well with multilingual projects and short deadlines
- Be very good at communicating expectations and have excellent customer service skills
- Have strong writing skills and great attention to detail, preferably with a previous proofreading experience
- Be very proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Word, Excel, PPT)
- Be positive, friendly, and a fast learner
- Familiarity with CAT tools is a plus
- Be fluent in a second language (preferably Spanish)
Responsibilities:- Provide overall support to translation department, including sending quotes to clients, sourcing the translation projects to translators and proofreaders, reviewing files for QC and ensuring delivery of the final translation is made timely
- As assigned by the project manager, serve as a liaison between clients and translators, ensuring any and all expectations/requirements for the projects are made clear to the translation teams
- Proofread, format and edit translation projects to resemble the source documents as closely as possible
- Create translation memory glossaries
- Bring on board new translators and proofreaders to join our network
- Implement various industry-related tools
