Who are we looking for?
: Bachelor's degree in Economy or Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting and Finance
: Fluent English
: Master's in Business Administration (MBA), is preferred
: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with deep knowledge of AP/AR processes
: Knowledge of Latin America Spanish speaking countries market and bank systems, is desired
: Familiar with access or other database software application.
: Technical awareness and familiarity with ERP and database and other business software applications.
: Travel availability.
What will you be doing?
Suez is seeking a Treasury specialist to assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilization of cash and financial services for all Spanish speaking countries within Latin America region. Under the overall guidance and supervision of LAM CFO and Global Treasury Manager, the Treasury specialist will support in managing global banking relationships and treasury administration, including liquidity management, risk assessment and timely accounting and reconciliation of all transactions.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include
: Oversee the administration and management of Suez's various bank accounts, and liaise with banks in order to obtain bank statements and reports, and provides feedback on Suez cash position;
: Monitor fund disbursements, to ensure that all income and expenditure is recorded in compliance with internal procedures and International Accounting Standards.
: Follow up on FX impacts and changes in country regulations;
: Carry out the reconciliation of all bank accounts in order to ensure that all banking transactions are accurate and consistent with factual transactions as recorded in the book of accounts and variations are eliminated;
: Ensure that accurate financial and relevant records are kept for all treasury transactions, including AP and AR.
: Oversee administrative matters related to code of conduct for financial activities and report for unusual activities, transactions and investigation of anomalies or unusual transactions;
: Support Argentina general manager with working capital and cash optimization analysis;
: Support management in the financial decision:making process.
: Coordinate and maintain a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the programs.
: Provide analysis, details and explanations on the status of Suez's accounts and perform other duties that may be assigned by LAM CFO, Global Treasury Manager or Argentina General manager.
