Job DescriptionAEOM is seeking an experienced Underground Works Coordinator for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating technical activities related to underground works, managing a team of expert specialists.Acting as liaison between underground works specialists and the General Coordinator of Underground and Civil Works.Performing specific portions of broader engineering assignments, gathering and correlating engineering data, and working on detailed or routine engineering tasks.Proposing solutions to encountered problems, identifying discrepancies, guiding entry-level engineers, and working within budget and schedule constraints.Completing primary design elements for engineering works independently, requiring developmental experience in a professional setting.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: BA/BS in Civil Engineering + 4 years of experience or equivalent.At least four (4) years of experience as a head or coordinator of underground construction or design works, including involvement in at least one underground railway project excavated with TBM.Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of experience.Additional InformationAECOM is a trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering services from advisory to construction management across various sectors including transportation, water, energy, and environment.
