Your.Rentals is looking for a talented UX Designer / Front:end Developer to drive the evolution of our responsive web application. Youll be joining our team of 40 motivated people : located in Malmö, Hanoi and Copenhagen. In a flat organisation, you will report to the CTO and work closely with other team members every day.
Our software is proprietary and cutting edge, and we have full control of priorities, usability and performance on the platform.
What you will do
: Design, prototype, develop, organize and maintain new and existing features and services on our web application.
: Discuss requirements with the product team to ensure you have a clear understanding of each story or feature.
: Turn high level requirements into innovative prototypes and functional specifications, informed by design patterns and your experience.
: Code dynamic front:end features and deliver to other developers for integration with our back:end.
: Ensure that our mobile users are delighted by designing, producing and maintaining responsive front:end code.
: Assess insights of user behaviour from web analytics and screen recordings to improve existing features for a better user experience.
: Drive our experimentation process by preparing multiple versions of the same features to A/B test with our users.
: Assisting our test team to ensure that UX is ready for shipping (both desktop and mobile versions).
: Contribute to the development of front:end coding technical standards and best practices.
: Contribute to a stable, high performing web property, particularly with regard to front:end code optimization for performance, stability and maintainability
Your profile
: 3+ years relevant work experience.
: Strong UX design and prototyping experience using tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop.
: Proficiency with JavaScript
: Experience with a front:end javascript framework: AngularJS, React.js or similar.
: Experience using CSS pre:processors (LESS and SASS).
: Solid grasp of cross:platform cross:browser compatibility issues and code optimization.
: Demonstrated ability to write Standards:compliant, semantically correct HTML and clean, well:structured CSS.
: Familiarity with web services, in particular JSON, and RESTful web services.
: Experience with JavaScript unit testing.
: Exposure to a wide range of design patterns for structural design and behaviors.
: A strong visual aesthetic, and an eye for details.
: Up:to:date knowledge, and an always learning ethic.
: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team based, learning environment.
: Have worked within an Agile software development team, using Jira and Confluence.
: Great communication skills and a knack for presenting results to groups in a clear, digestible style.
: Strong written and spoken English language skills.
