Compliance Manager - Crypto and Traditional Finance
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager with both crypto and traditional finance compliance experience, preferably with a law background. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with all applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions in LATAM.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for the company's crypto and traditional FX operations.Own the P2P and future regulatory license applications.Monitor and assess the company's compliance with applicable regulations & laws and industry standards and report to senior management.Manage regulatory filings, inspections, and audits.Stay current with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and advise senior management on compliance-related risks and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance measures and controls, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees and partners.Maintain effective relationships with regulators, industry associations, and other stakeholders.Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, issues, and inquiries.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field.At least 4 years of relevant experience in compliance management, with a focus on both crypto, FX trading, cross border payment / settlements.Strong knowledge of regulations in multiple jurisdictions.Experience with regulatory filings, inspections, and audits.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager with both crypto and traditional finance compliance experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
