Objective of Job China is the biggest passenger car market for Mercedes-Benz. In Mercedes-Benz R&D China. We strive to provide
China-fit ADAS/AD products through advanced technologies to our Chinese customers. We are currently looking for
ADAS/AD experts who share the same passion and enthusiasm for developing a China-fit ADAS/AD system.
In this position, you will be part of the AD Data Engine team in R&D China and responsible for AD Connectivity SW
development and testing in ADAS/AD system. You will be working with different Mercedes-Benz carlines and
different function owners.
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for SW specification, development and testing. You will
ensure AD data upload and download on SW level according to project timeline. You should have strong
communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Task Description Act as Product Owner of AD Backend Communication Controller
Together with function owner of Connectivity, work on SW specification Drive and develop AD Backend Communication Controller SW functions according to the specificationSupport AD system development and integrationDefine test cases for backend communication controller SWLead test activity of mentioned SWIndependently plan and execute verification for defect ticketsMake sure the designed solution fulfil technical requirements as well as data security and cybersecurity requirementsOptimization of SW development and testing process
Based on lessons learnt during the development and testing, define process optimization plan and execute in next development cycles Qualifications Qualification Bachelor/Master in Electrical or Computer Science, Vehicle engineering, or related field of studyDeep understanding of connectivity concept, including the objective, benefit, frontend/backend resources usage, and the basic mechanismExperience with ADAS/AD system, domain controller, AUTOSAR AP/ROS/Apollo CyberRT and connectivity developmentExperience with Ethernet communication development including SOMEIP/HTTPS(C++), knowledge of TCP/IPOutstanding ability of creating and reproducing software bugsExperience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., GTest)Ability to make software and hardware requirements, technical implementation and testing methodologiesExperience in cooperation with multi-partners for on-board SW deploymentInterpersonal skills, able to drive alignment across different teamsSelf-responsible working attitude and initiative Ideally fundamental knowledge about FOTA and DOTAWillingness to travel inside China and abroad#J-18808-Ljbffr
