How your role will add to the story: We are looking for a Field Campaign Coordinator. In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide operational support to the Field Campaign and Technical Literature Lead and National Manager, specifically in reviewing all information provided by Mercedes-Benz AG for campaign launches. You will also work closely with the Government & Regulatory Affairs team to ensure that customer letters and dealer bulletins are completed and distributed by the prescribed deadlines. You will also have a special focus on increasing customer mailing accuracy, reduce the number of returned mailings and ultimately boost recall completion rates. Process improvement and process optimization are also a main focus of this role.
A day in the life You will monitor our internal system for new service and recall campaign information, cross-reference with information received from Global Service and Parts team to confirm accuracy. You will work closely with relevant internal departments in the review of parts requirements and work instructions for each field campaign and determine parts/software availability. You will submit recall documents to Federal agencies within the regulated timeframe including dealer bulletins (NCU), customer letters, work instructions and VIN lists. You will also prepare customer letters (Interim & Final) and News Channel Updates and request translations. You will submit customer information requests to the Canadian Council of Motor Transportation Administrators to be used for mailing lists and compile Provincial records into a single file. You will also work with the translator to ensure that all information is made available in English and French. You will support the Regulatory team in following internal recall/campaign system processes. You will also support with process development to address recalls on U.S. vehicles imported to Canada and vice versa, recalls on incomplete vehicles (Sprinter cab chassis) at third party body builders, identify further areas of improvement and propose ideas for process optimization. Qualifications
Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits: Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science or related field 2-3 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail Highly driven to deliver outstanding customer service Good understanding of legal topics and strong ability to work with regulations.
