RYZ Labs is looking for a Java Engineer to join one of our client's teams. You will join the dynamic and innovative Product Engineering Group. They are programming language polyglots dedicated to redefining the standards of hospitality technology. The team is committed to delivering unparalleled guest experiences by focusing on guest identity, IoT, communication, and e-commerce solutions. What You'll Do: - Work on business critical systems that deliver stable and scalable systems which provide the best experience to all of our guests and teams - Research, implement, deploy and maintain innovative e-commerce solutions - Implement guest facing interfaces and backend systems - Integrate with existing home-grown services as well as third party APIs - You will join a remote-first globally distributed engineering team What We're Looking For: - 5-8 years of experience designing, building, scalable web applications and backend services - Proficient experience developing and maintaining systems written in Java or Kotlin in a production setting. - Experience in domain driven design - Experience in legacy system migration in to modern tech stack - Successful track record of shipping projects with multiple dependencies across technical and non-technical teams - Excellent team player with strong communication skills - Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience Bonus Points: -Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, NodeJs -Experience with the Apollo GraphQL framework -Previous experience in PMS system integration About RYZ Labs: RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
