Position Description
The Technical Account Management team is the technical interface to partners, and as such, there is a high level of interaction – both remote and at the launch partner site
He/She will work closely with the local sales lead and support product launch activities. The Technical Account Manager owns the technical interface to the technical staff in the partner organisations.
The candidate would be the interface with the key accounts for technical issues at a local level and work closely with counterparts in other countries and undertake travel when necessary
Managing the SW release process and drive Technical approval with launch partners
Negotiate product launch schedule with partners
Ensure customized software is available in line with the agreed schedule
Perform customer specific testing, take logs, communicate with development/feature teams and ensure issues follow-up
Provide technical information, samples upgrade/verification, participation in technical trials/demonstrations for customer(s) and account teams
Owns handset customisation for the customer(s) under his/her area of responsibility, including:
Agree customisation options with the customer and then liaise with the internal teams to ensure changes are implemented
Handling the delivery of HW and SW to the internal and customer test teams
Generates customisation files and performs sanity checks
Position Requirements
Engineering degree is required
Knowledge of mobile telecoms network topologies and protocols
Knowledge of Android platform test and debug tools (HTML and Java programming skills is beneficial)
Good negotiation skills in customer facing environment
Good communication and presentations skills
Able to work with the minimum of supervision and manage time/tasks assigned
Ability to work in very complex project environment
In addition to the local language, a good level of English is required
Willingness to travel to launch partner locations and other Lenovo facilities when required
