About the role As a Python Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable Python applications within the Teramind platform. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to design and implement new features, improve existing functionality, and optimize performance.
Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality Python code for new features and enhancements Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and understand project needs Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues Optimize application performance and scalability Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality Serve as the technical owner of features, overseeing their entire lifecycle from design through implementation to ongoing support 4+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer Strong understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases Proficient knowledge of Git Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Will be a plus Experience with Flask, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI Experience with Data warehousing/analytics solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, Tableau, Druid, etc) Experience with ClickHouse DBMS This is a remote job. You can expect up to 4 interviews. In some scenarios, we're able to streamline the process to have minimal rounds. Director-level roles and above should expect a more thorough process, with multiple rounds of interviews.
