We currently have an opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our team at our Norwest clinic on a 12 month contract.
More specifically you will: Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.Be competent in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning.We're looking for someone who has: Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.Current radiation licence with the EPADemonstrated commitment to high quality patient care.Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.Able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationshipsFlexibility to work across multiple sites.Benefits of joining our team: 38 Hour, 4 Day work weekOngoing training and development by leading Radiation Therapists.Training on the latest technologies and techniques.Engaging work environment that promotes collaboration within the multi-disciplinary team.Internal career development opportunities nationally.Working with a vibrant team aligned with providing the best patient experience possible and outcomes.All employees and their family members have access to free confidential support that is completely external to GenesisCare including financial, nutritional and wellbeing coaching, legal advice & counselling.Range of benefits available: Qantas membership discount, gym membership discount, 12 weeks paid parental leave, Bupa discount.
