Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.Job Summary :As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and securing our IT infrastructure, focusing on server management, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.You will ensure robust, secure IT operations, supporting both system-wide architectural tasks and sensitive data protection.This role requires deep technical expertise, a proactive approach to system security, and a strong commitment to efficient incident response and disaster recovery processes.Key Responsibilities :- Install, configure, and maintain server environments including script installations for FSLogix, Teams, and Chrome.- Troubleshoot server configurations, manage user access,and maintain server pools.- Set up and manage virtual environments for IT staff to test and deploy scripts.- Conduct vendor risk assessments focusing on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.- Migrate and manage cloud-hosted solutions, including 3cx server transitions.- Update and maintain systems operations across various platforms, including Windows 11.- Execute incident response runbooks covering detection to recovery phases.- Develop and implement security controls for privileged account management.- Oversee identity governance based on principles like Least Privilege and Zero Trust.- Manage, analyze, and report on security audits, penetration tests, and compliance assessments (e.g., SOC2, CSA Star).- Administer Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.- Develop update strategies for critical applications and ensure compatibility with new software releases.- Configure network settings for optimal performance and security across diverse infrastructures.- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning.- Perform threat analysis on VoIP applications and manage application security.- Manage device policies and configurations to align with security standards.RequirementsRequired Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, cybersecurity, or a similar role.- Proficient in managing Windows server environments and cloud technologies.- Experience with SIEM tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance regulations.- Strong understanding of network architectures and data protection protocols.- Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM), Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, or similar credentials are highly preferred.Desired Skills :- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Proactive in identifying and mitigating potential security risks.- Ability to handle multiple projects and lead initiatives in a dynamic environment.RequirementsRequired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
