OverviewWe are seeking a detailoriented and experienced accountant to join our remote work team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our monthend financial reporting processes, as well as handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative tasks. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.Resume needed to be consideredResponsibilitiesConduct monthend closing activities, including but not limited toReconciling general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.o Preparing journal entries and adjusting entries as necessary.o Reviewing and analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and inconsistencies.o Posting accruals, deferrals, and other adjusting entries.o Verifying the accuracy of trial balances.Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of financial transactions.Prepare financial reports and schedules for monthend and yearend close processes.Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company policies.Participate in financial audits and provide support to auditors as needed.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the monthend close process.Maintain documentation and procedures related to monthend close processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.Handle APAR functions, includingo Processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.o Reconciling accounts payable transactions.o Generating and sending customer invoices.o Monitoring accounts receivable aging and following up on overdue accounts.Perform administrative tasks such as needed such as creating proposals and engagement letters to new clients.RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification preferred.Proven experience in accounting, with specific experience in monthend close processes.Willingness to take on administrative tasks with strong attention to detail and organization.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.Proficiency in QuickBooks.Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic work environment.Fluent in English and Spanish.Bolsa de trabajo Argentina ofrecemos puesto de accountant para el sector de Contabilidad Finanzas en la empresa Doerly Works de Avellaneda.
