Your primary objective will be to drive sales, increase market share and brand awareness, and enhance the overall customer experience through effective category management and channel marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the audio industry. Assortment Management: Curate a diverse assortment of audio products, considering market demand and customer expectations. Ensure a balanced product mix that meets both financial and customer satisfaction goals. Key Account Management: Cultivate strong relationships with audio product manufacturers, retailers, and distributors. Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional opportunities to optimize profitability and competitiveness. Develop and manage the category budget, monitoring financial performance against targets. Analyze sales data, market trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Merchandising and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing teams to create compelling promotions, displays, and marketing campaigns. Implement merchandising strategies to enhance the visibility and appeal of the audio category in retail spaces. Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring an efficient supply chain. Work closely with the logistics team to minimize lead times and improve overall inventory efficiency. Customer Experience: Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation within the audio category. Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, including product education and after-sales support. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience in category management within the audio or consumer electronics industry. Proven experience with retail and distribution operations and channels. Proven experience with e-commerce channels. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
