How you'll play your part As a member of the Corporate Finance team within Corporate Services, you'll play a vital role in supporting the finance administration of the Mercedes-Benz Cars Corporate Sales Programme. This involves assisting with the supply of approximately 25,000 vehicles annually to customers across the UK. Your attention to detail and numerical skills will ensure the accurate and timely administration of invoices to leasing companies and agents. While prior experience in a similar role isn't required, your numerical acumen and positive approach will make you an excellent fit for this dynamic, people-centric team.
Main Accountabilities Assist with the generation of sales invoices within an agreed SLA, requiring a high level of accuracy to check each invoice matches the specific customer agreement and terms, to ensure the invoices are generated at the correct price. Own all processes relating to the factoring process for accounts (MB Cars and Vans). Monitor all lease company accounts to ensure that credit risk is minimised and ledgers are managed, currently 56 accounts. Provide stakeholder awareness within MB Cars and Vans to areas of potential credit risk.Take responsibility for the coordination and monitoring of leasing company credit limits.Ensure systems are aligned and the intercompany communication is effective. Ensure aged debt is reviewed regularly in all agreed account groups (MBFS, MB Cars and Vans) and contact customers as required. Ensure all department process documentation is always kept up to date, highlighting any errors or changes to the wider team as required, in accordance with our internal control systems. Represent team where necessary at weekly/monthly review meetings with internal stakeholders ensuing that excellent working relationships based upon trust and respect are maintained. Support the wider team activity as and when required. Recommend process improvements, share specialised business knowledge with the other appropriate teams and support systems changes as required. About you Knowledge and/or experience of the vehicle supply chain useful but not essential. Knowledge and experience of CESAR & VRS useful but not essential. Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships. Ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and still able to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level. Able to focus on customer service whilst maintaining internal service levels. A proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
