YOUR ROLE:
A client-facing role, the Digital Project Manager is the lifeline for the success of our clients' marketing campaigns. You visualize our projects in roadmaps, foreseeing roadblocks and planning the best course of actions to mitigate risks. With your coordination, the right resources and teams are always allocated to manage key deliverables. Reporting directly to the Account Director and working alongside our Account Services Team, you are also responsible for creating project processes, mapping out workback schedules, and ensuring the smooth implementation and delivery of campaigns. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Execution Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure alignment on client goals and defined project scope, as well as successful implementation of campaign strategyCollaborate with internal production teams, client teams, outside contractors and third party stakeholders to execute campaign deliverables in a timely and effective mannerCreate and implement SOWs, workback schedules, timelines, and campaign progress reportsEnsure deadlines are met by estimating and planning overall workloads; planning, assigning and communicating tasksAnalyze risks and proactively take action to mitigate issues and adjust campaign timelines as necessaryEnsure that the project meets the quality standards expected by the client and Periphery and provide QA for all deliverablesCoordinate the successful submission of campaign deliverables with media vendors and third party agenciesTrack project budget and identify opportunities to maximize profitsClient Engagement Ensure clients are informed, updated, and on track with the workback schedule and campaign timelineCollaborate with clients on the ideation, creation, feedback, and approvals of deliverablesEnsure timely communication and successful delivery of campaign objectives, goals, and KPIsResolve client roadblocks and complaints to ensure customer satisfactionParticipate in client meetings and presentationsTeam Management Act as the bridge between the client and the internal production teamLead internal project kickoff meetings and regular project meetings to keep the production team up to date and organizedEnsure that the production team has the tools and assets necessary to produce deliverables (instructions, assets, design specs, brand guidelines etc.)Create tasks and provide direction for media, content, and design to ensure the timely and successful completion of campaign deliverablesManage the overall workload, production pipeline and timeline for the internal production teamUnderstand the strengths and weaknesses of each team member and be able to tailor your communication style accordinglyMotivate the team through great days and rough daysProcess and Admin Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expendituresMake recommendations for improvement (in project management methods, project profitability) by assessing work methods, processes, and documentsIndustry Knowledge Develop a firm understanding of the client's industry, brand, marketing strategy, and challengesDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of Periphery's services and processesStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies within the Chinese market, as well as digital and traditional paid media opportunities in North AmericaMaintain a high level of understanding in digital marketing platforms such as Google Display Network, Facebook, Instagram, Programmatic, WeChat etc.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizationsREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the project management fieldExperience working with and running bilingual digital marketing and media campaignsExceptional interpersonal, verbal and writing skills, fluency in EnglishIntermediate knowledge of WeChat advertising and Ethnic marketing platformsIntermediate understanding of SEM, Display, and Paid Social AdvertisingOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build a positive, respectful, and motivating team environment Flourishes in a team environment with the ability to collaborate and delegate efficiently and effectively with multiple internal departments Superior time management skills — the right person needs to be able to multitask and juggle competing demands from clients and the internal teamAbility to think critically, navigate stressful situations optimistically/positively, problem solve under pressure, make sound and timely decisions, and meet hard deadlinesAbility to work without supervision and manage your own schedule as well as the schedule of the production teamHighly organized and extremely detail-orientedExcellent email and phone etiquette Understands and resonates with small business cultureBonus Points:
