Description
Support the Management in the Hub and Market in order to contribute the execution and achievement of the company's strategy. Coordinate the Human Resources teams and provide a comprehensive and professional HR Service with a continuously improve its performance and achieve its goals. Support managers to effectively get the best out of their teams, maintaining a high standards of corporate regulations. Advise and support managers, departments and employees regarding all personal aspects. Ensure and design a Career Path, Training program in order to identify and retent our talent. Guarantee the company culture and the implementation of HR policies and processes. Ensure compliance with the local Labor Legislation.
Representative accountabilities:
• Providing HR advice and support to the business to ensure the delivery of corporate objectives and strategy ensuring all activity complies with company policies and processes and laboral legislation
• Ensuring a correct application of the compensation system, benefit regulations and salary review process. If required by business needs be involved in the design of a compensation & benefit model/ components. 
• Control, review, and authorization of Payroll process.
• Ensure business controls, ICS and HR Compliance check
• Acting as an internal consultant and change agent to ensure cultural and organizational initiatives are understood and accepted. Promote Diversity &Inclusion and Employee survey.
HR Strategy and Planning: 
• Contribute to the development and drive of HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Provide input on local market trends, competitive practices, and emerging HR issues.
Operational Effectiveness and Control
• Demonstrate compliance and internal control including timely implementation of internal and external audit points
Business Partnering
• Professional consultancy to a dedicated business partner on all HR related matters across the HR process landscape and employee journey.
• Ongoing collaboration with business partners in developing and rolling out HR communication strategy based on business needs
• Liasoning with management, HR communities, third party service providers, related external and local authorities.
• Development of solutions on operational matters in line with HR policies and procedures 
• Steer and coordinate new business set up in an international environment
• Support the business during the transformation process 
Compensation & Benefits
• Continuously analyze market competiveness of local remuneration package (benchmarking)
• Participate in job evaluation exercise using Mercer methodology
• According to action needs, develop and implement solutions for compensation & benefits components considering local benchmark as well as corporate regulation
• Prepare and execute regular salary review process 
Performance Management and People Development
• Coordinate and execute annual performance management cycle
• Advice and support in performance management systems and processes
• Review, modify and implement training plan for employees and management
• Identify training / skills / competency requirements within the organization and develop concepts in line with corporate standards
• Design and implement employee engagement programs based on needs and business targets
Policy Management
• Review and update all HR regulations to ensure policy and law compliance 
• Ensure implementation and enactment of corporate policies and regulations
• Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
• Liasoning with management and to provide clear understanding of HR policies and procedures to all stakeholders.
• Liaison with other HR colleagues within Mercedes group on the best practices and policies.
Leadership and Teamwork
• Coach and monitor the progress of direct report professional developments.
• To promote teamwork within the team members by sharing the objectives and working effectively to achieve those goals.
Qualifications
1. Required Educational Background
• Degree or Master in HR Management, Business Admin, Law, or any other related field.
2. Experience
More than 10 years of business experience, sufficient stature within the organization.
Significant experience of successfully managing the coordination and delivery of key HR services and employee relations. Experience working as business partner in HR functions will be added advantage.
3. Knowledge and Capabilities
• Familiar with Malaysia Employment Act 1955 and Malaysia Industrial Act 1967.
• Proven experience as an HR leader, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and legal regulations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Knowledge in dealing with employee relations including change management, capacity management, grievance, disciplinary and changes of employment terms and conditions.
• Professional & Interpersonal skills: Analytical thinking, result oriented, intercultural understanding and knowledge, quick and strong learning ability.
• Process knowledge: Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Language skills: English and Bahasa Malaysia
