JD: IT PMO
The role serves as a liaison to the key stakeholders of the office: IT/x members, key Mercedes-Benz Research & Development colleagues, senior management teams within MBRDI and external stakeholders alike. The incumbent must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven. The ideal Individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. Has the ability to work independently from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Strategic Initiatives
• Handle key initiatives that come in on a regular basis
• Analyze various key reports for the HoD and provide insights
• Executes to the strategy/plan, anticipating problems and managing program risks and issues with escalation as appropriate
• Own KPI Definition and reporting for IT @MBRDI
• SPOC for data requests across departments : Own the process of fulfilling and data requirements , analysis and communications
Work with IO office to automate operating processes of IT @ MBRDI
• Own and drive actions from organizations OKR's to the CIO office Communications
• Work with controlling and leaders for strategic/financial planning of the department
• Prepare the content for various internal (Townhalls, visits, MD office, MBRDI ExComm, IT/x units… ) and external events of round tables the necessary strategic presentation materials Strategy Workshops/meetings
• Manage department LS meetings: Planning the agenda, documenting action items & minutes and follow up for closure
• Planning and executing strategic workshops
• Manage Agenda and Visit for E2 and above from MB HQ/International locations
Key Skills & Experience Requirements
• Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
• Strong skill of working with influence
• Highly motivated, self-starter and team player
• Uphold a strict level of confidentiality, collaboration and objective based
• Background/working knowledge of Corp Functions such as Finance, HR, Facilities, etc an added advantage
• At least 5+years working exposure to Technical & solution architecture, Applications Lifecycle Management
• 8+ Years of experience
• 5-8 years of experience working with C-Level Executives
• Technical background, Graduate/Engineering in Computer Sciences'
