We are looking for talented software experts to join our team near one of our three locations. About the Role: As a Senior QA at OneSeven, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team, assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Onboarding: For the first few months, this candidate will be required to work in the office 2-3 times a week with the CEO and Engineering lead for faster onboarding. After a few months, a more hybrid approach will be accepted. Responsibilities: Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).Collaborate with the project team to understand product changes and QA testing requirements to deal with issues/defects in a timely manner.Assist in maintaining organized task management, ensuring all bugs are logged and tracked. Identify, log, and track bugs and other issues.Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing.Work closely with the development team to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applicationsCollaborate with product teams and project managers to define and prioritize test scenariosDocument and maintain test processes and proceduresMonitor application performance and troubleshoot issuesAnalyze test results and identify areas of improvementMaintain quality standards and make sure that all products meet customer expectationsQualifications: Intermediate English level (important)2+ years of experience working in QA positionsStrong mentoring skills and leadership skillsAbility to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problemsTeam player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team.Ability to research as you workAbility to be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environmentThe desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team and help shape process, practice, and operationsYou will need to provide your own workspace with reliable Internet serviceAgile + Scrum Methodology knowledgeYou are passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn.You have a keen eye for detail and excel in documentation.You are highly organized and proficient in task management.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with test automation platforms, systems, and tools is a plus (Selenium, Cypress JMeter, Postman, K6, etc.)Knowledge of bug tracking and issue management tools (Click-Up, Jira, Linear, etc.)Experience with test case management tools is a plus (TestRail, TestLodge, etc.)Experience with source control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)Experience with DevOps tools (Github Actions, CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)Having an ISTQB Certificate is a plus.The ability to write, read, and understand code (Python, Javascript, SQL, and others) is a plus.Experience with API testingExperience in developing and executing test plans and test casesKnowledge of bug tracking and issue management toolsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsBenefits/Compensation: Hybrid - occasionally a few times a week in the office and the rest remoteContract-based employmentStarting at $1500 - $2500 depending on qualificationsThere are currently NO formal benefits packages available (health insurance, retirement plans).Trial period for 2 months after which we will reevaluate the contractFreelance - we are open to it PLEASE SEND RESUME IN ENGLISH.
