The SAP FI Functional Analyst will apply their knowledge of SAP Financial Management modules and business processes while applying Baker McKenzie's specific requirements to analyze and resolve tickets routed from Level 1 and participate in project work including creating functional and process designs, assisting with basic non-transport configuration, and executing testing activities.
Responsibilities: Analyze, diagnose and resolve the requests routed from Level 1 support, escalating unresolved requests to the next level of supportProvide Level 2 support including root cause analysis, proposing and implementing structural solutions, testing, and tracking the resolution for problems escalated from Level 3Act as SME on the Financial Management business processes and SAP functionality and support end users on performing the Financial Management business processes within SAPAs part of the Change Management process, complete implementation work orders as necessary; for emergency application changes, execute testing activities in the test environmentParticipate in the project work, new implementations and planning of future system enhancements as needed, integration testing, regression testing, user training if needed, and post go-live supportAssist with the creation of comprehensive functional and process designs that address the needs of key stakeholders from the businessAssist with non-transport configuration activities for the FI-CO modules (e.g., accounts payable, general ledger, asset management and banking and treasury) to satisfy business requirements and business process designProvide input to and support creation of SAP training and SAP knowledge management documentation as it relates to the specific functional area of expertiseParticipate in the build, deployment, testing and remediation of SAP release(s)Create documentation suitable for internal systems control and end users which include Business Process ProceduresLearn new Statutory rules of various Countries to apply requirements in SAPAble to work occasional early morning, evening or weekend hours for production support, upgrade or other projects as necessary. May also work various shifts to match personal home life and other team members work hours around the world as desired.
