About the team Dialpad's Growth Designers unite brand and product design to ensure a seamless experience for users and prospects in order to maximize the benefits from our products. In this role, you'll combine research, user experience, and brand design to create a frictionless, beautiful experience for all users and prospects.
Dialpad's brand and growth design team plays an essential role in increasing awareness, adoption, and utilization of our AI-powered communications products. This team collaborates closely with product engineers, product designers, program managers, and marketing to constantly improve the signup and adoption experience.
About this role As a Senior Growth Designer at Dialpad, you play an integral role across product and web, working closely with Marketing, Product and Engineering partners as well as other cross-functional teams. You're seen as an expert within your area, can navigate ambiguous projects well, and understand how to align your team to drive toward an actionable next step. You work with your partners to define strategy, roadmaps, timelines, and goals. You also may mentor and assist other designers to help them grow.
What you'll do…
Own the signup and onboarding design process from conception to executionMake data-informed design decisions to optimize user experience and conversionsIncorporate moments of surprise and delight in your workResearch and apply UX best practices for ecommercePartner closely with the brand design team to ensure brand consistency across all conversion pointsContribute to evolving our web design system and visual identityContribute to a culture of design by being an advocate for design thinking and collaborationKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skillsAbility to inspire and drive end-to-end product and feature improvementsAbility to reduce complex problems to first principles to ensure the core issues are addressedExceptional visual design skillsKnowledge and passion for interaction designAbility to prototype in Figma or other design tool (Bonus if you can do this in HTML)Ability to think at a high level about product and growth strategyAbility to think through the impacts of your design before heavily investing your timeAbility to approach problems from a user's perspectiveAbility to act as a Product Manager when needed to drive efforts forwardAbility to think creatively and develop novel, innovative solutionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous work environmentAbility to research and perform thorough competitive analysisMinimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experienceA portfolio showcasing your work and strong visual design skills5+ years of product design experience5+ years of using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or other design toolsPreferred Qualifications:
