Join Edelman Global Advisory team as an Account Executive!
You will be able to learn Edelman´s various Public Affairs processes/approaches, including public engagement, stakeholder mapping exercises, political and economic situation reporting, development of public policy advocacy strategies, obtaining information from key stakeholders in policy decision-making, and support account teams in the execution of these processes for clients.
As part of your daily work, you will contribute to account work by managing small projects and participating in larger projects as directed by project leaders.
Responsibilities:Assure the correct functioning of the work processes in the assigned accounts;Supervise the assistant´s work (processes and quality of deliverables);Prepare talking points to discuss with clients in periodic calls;Receive customer inquiries and propose possible ways to resolve them;Approach key stakeholders and schedule meetings with them;Provide accounts administration including meeting deadlines, troubleshooting problems, attending client meetings and conference calls, and reporting activity and coverage.Qualifications:A bachelor´s degree in a relevant field (Political Science, International Relations, Economics) from an accredited college or universityAt least 2 years of relevant experience in Public Affairs and/or related fields;Advanced level of English and Spanish;Solid knowledge of the political and economic context, both nationally and regionally;Strong research, writting and editing skills;Ability to develop contacts and relationships with public officials, legislators and key stakeholders from business sectors;Experience in legislative & public policy monitoring;Interest in topics related to Technology and finance.Edelman is a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
