Our client are seeking a talent and ambitious part qualified or qualified persion Actuary to join a Retirement and Investment team.
You will be primarily responsible for contributing to the overall delivery of exceptional client service, either directly or in support of senior team members.
They are looking for a highly capable individual with innovative approaches to problem-solving, strong mathematical background and a commitment to quality.
You will help deliver and design best-in-class strategies for their clients.
Responsibilties of the role:
- Attend and participate in client meetings and calls, providing valuable support to the Actuary/Client Manager.
- Play an active part in service delivery as part of the client team and involve others in identifying service improvements where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships externally with clients and internally with colleagues.
- Take responsibility for the production (quality, timeliness and budget) of work for allocated clients. This includes checking and undertaking complex technical calculations and drafting reports and advice papers.
- Take part in setting and negotiating fees where appropriate with the Actuary/Client Manager.
- Take responsibility to keep up to date with changes in employee benefits environment.
- Progress through your personal qualifications and be responsible for your own development.
You should have:
- Relevant industry knowledge and experience of employee benefits/occupation pension provision.
- Be part (actively studying) or fully qualified Actuary.
- Previous pensions actuarial consulting experience.
- Ability to deliver effect client service to multiple clients with agreed financial and time budgets.
- Experience/track record in relationship management.
