Responsibilities: Deliver next generation AD end customer features to China market, from basic L2 ADAS up to L2+ Highway End-to-End customer journeyEnsure on-time delivery of end customer features to project milestones fulfilling MB quality standardCo-define function activity chain to realize end customer features, identify cross-domain interdependencies & lead issue resolution along the entire chainLead & coordinate group of Customer Function Owners towards an integrated system performance & smooth collaboration of all sub systemsProvide needed training and coaching to project team members Tasks: Deliver next generation AD end customer features to China market, from basic L2 ADAS up to L2+ Highway End-to-End customer journeyDevelop L2 & L2+ end customer features, such as ACC, ALSA, ALCA & Highway L2+ along the MB development process, including system design, system specification, feature ramp up plan and tracking, validation and release.Drive development of lateral end customer features in next AD generation.Follow and further develop the MB ADAS DNA and philosophyObserve the Chinese and global markets and competitors, identify development potentials and ensure competitiveness of MB systemsCooperate with global system development teamsEnsure on-time delivery of end customer features to project milestones fulfilling MB quality standardEnsure project milestone transparency among CFO team and break down top level features into executable development items for CFOsEnsure sufficient testing & regression to safeguard needed maturity according to MB quality standardEscalate critical issues and define countermeasures to catch up defined milestonesCo-define function activity chain to realize end customer features, identify cross-domain interdependencies & lead issue resolution along the entire chainWork closely together with other domain owners to define function activity chains for features.Make system architecture transparent and lead issue resolution along the entire architectural chain. Qualifications Education
MSc or PhD in Engineering or Automobile or equivalent qualification.Experience
5 years of R&D experience with active safety system, ADAS system development and release in passenger car projects.Leading experience with teams and in intercultural environments.Specific knowledge
Deep knowledge of ADAS system/function development, system/function release process and relevant China local and international suppliers.Good knowledge of organizational structures as well as related R&D processes and regulatory framework.Strong ability to build-up and maintain relationships with other organizations & suppliers.Strong ability to resolve conflict with empathy and boldness in an intercultural working environment.Strong willingness to go the extra mile to achieve committed goals.Ability to innovate & challenge the existing.Fluent in German and English language, additional Chinese helpful.SW development experience in C++, C & Matlab beneficial.#J-18808-Ljbffr
