Description
As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and ethusiam for driving our China specific development for ADAS Backend experience. Located in Beijing (Wangjing area) our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of ADAS Backend for Mercedes-Benz cars.
Within the AD Backend team we deal with all related topics for ADAS backend services together with cloud platform.
As functional owner in the AD Backend product team, you are End-2-End responsible for our product development, especially ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners.
You are take care about the requirement management, priorities, product quality and schedule as well as status reporting. You will be the communication channel to internal and external development partner in China, as well as our development partners at other Mercedes-Benz development sites all over the world.
Task Description
Taking end-2-end responsibility for one or more dedicted functions within the AD Backend product team.
Defining joint customer products as well as the necessary data exchange to enable best ADAS backend products. Writing requirements and user-stories. Align the necessary workpackages with internal and external development teams and follow up the development. Verification, ticket creation, driving to solutions to ensure the best product.
Start and finish the demand process on-time and resolve all blocking issues to enable the functionality. Ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery of all components in the different domains and verify the product, prepare the function for customer release. Being the main contact for all internal and external stakeholder, regularily present status to the management.

Responsible to ensure future competitiveness of the Mercedes-Benz Chinese ADAS system by creating new product ideas, especially in the ADAS HMI domain, preparing these ideas, do POCs and present these to management and coworkers.
Collabrate closely with other function owners in and outside of the AD Backend product team to integrate developed deliverables into projects as well as provide technical feedback in discussions on future products and platforms
Qualifications
Qualification
• Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or appropriate graduation)
• Very good knowledge in the ADAS backend domain, preferably 3 years work experience in the ADAS backend business with an OEM or internet company being responsible for ADAS backend components.
• Experience as a software developer, preferably in the field of ADAS backend development
• Very good knowledge in project management, preferred experience in leading complex software development projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in defining, developing and releasing software projects in the automotive area
• Relevant Cloud knowledge and experience
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Software development quality methodologies such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing and static code analysis
• Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analyze, and so on
• Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills
