Description
· Planning and project coordination of all electric systems incl. PLC for controls & automation.
· Scope: Limited complex areas. Example: a Bodyshop Z area.
· Prepare planning options, evaluate cost-efficiency and provide analysis of both.
· Exchange Information with partners / colleagues in the plant and within Production Planning.
· Plan and document shop equipment requirements, specification documents and support RfQ processes with other planning departments untill awarding.
· Supervise planning, engineering and commissioning of all automation equipment until final buy-offs of equipment together with suppliers and BBAC production and maintenance teams.
· Plan and introduce measures to follow/meet legal requirements for the protection of the environment.
· Creating and checking of technical documentation and specifications.
· Preparing of cost comparison and feasibility calculations.
· Cross functional technical responsibility of electrical hardware and/or pneumatic systems.
· Collaboration within PP and BBAC teams and with further stakeholders (Production, Maintenance, IT, etc.) in Mercedes-Benz, BBAC, MBGC.
· Working out of comprehensive and complex Specification Manual and tender documentation, on the basis of the valid standards and in consideration of the Chinese norms, regulations and laws.
· Organizes internal and external meetings to clarify issues and finding solutions.
· Support the integration of various technology combinations in the reuse and warehouse projects.
Qualifications
Education Master of Science in Electircal or Automation Engineering; Bachelor of Science in Electrical / Automation Engineering
Experience Minimum 2 years professional experience in technical planning and project management and / or equivalent professional training for automation technology. Project management experience of automotive industry, battery industry experience is a plus. Working experience in a multi-national corporate environment.
Specific knowledge · Experience in setting up a new project, premises, scope, meeting landscapes
· Matured Project Management experience: follow up project contents (milestone, budget, documents, etc.).
· Solid background in logistics/production/procurement etc., so that the candidate can understanding the project better.
· Ability to predict, proactively steer and alert to risk.
· Be able to steering cross function specific taskforce, make summary to management
· Project management knowledge, as cross functional communication, budgeting, time management etc.
· Target-oriented and able to take over cross-border tasks
· Excellent coordination, presentation and team work skills
· Excellent skill in computer, especially Microsoft office software
· Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese, German language skills are a plus
· In depth automation technology specific knowledge.
