About the Company We are a dynamic investment firm executing a roll-up strategy across two distinct platforms: one in the Med Spa industry and another focusing on a broader range of small businesses. With an eye on aggressive growth, we are gearing up to launch a larger fund aimed at expanding our roll-up platforms. Our approach involves the aggregation of small businesses to create a larger, more competitive entity. As we embark on this exciting phase of fundraising and expansion, we are seeking to enhance our team with a skilled Business Development Representative (BDR).
About the Position The BDR will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, focusing on the acquisition of small businesses through proactive outreach and relationship building. You will work closely with brokers and sellers, engaging in initial discussions, networking, and pursuing listings online to identify potential acquisition targets. Your role will involve a significant amount of outreach, including making phone calls, attending conferences, and potentially engaging directly with sellers to discuss business acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities Identify and engage with brokers representing small businesses suitable for acquisition. Conduct cold outreach to potential sellers and manage initial conversations about business acquisitions. Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and source new acquisition opportunities. Collaborate with our investment team to evaluate potential deals and advance the acquisition process. If performance merits, directly engage in negotiations and discussions with sellers about their business sales. Requirements: 2-7 years of experience in business development, with a preference for experience in financial services or investment sectors. Proven track record of effective networking and relationship building. A strong cold-calling experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrable soft skills, with an ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders. High-performance orientation, with a history of achieving and exceeding targets. Flexibility in approach, with a readiness to engage in a variety of outreach activities. No specific degree is required; we value skill and performance over formal education. Stability in career, with not too many job changes in recent years. What We Offer: A competitive salary range of $1,500 - $2,000 per month.
