About the opportunity: Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader in this extremely fast paced business environment, the role will take ownership and effectively manage a segment of the Aged Debt Ledger within the Customer portfolio. You will work within a One team partnering model, building strong and positive support and service relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Pivotal to the role will be a professional customer centric and risk based analytical approach in managing the ledger, to optimise collections via prompt follow up, dispute resolution and account reconciliation efficiencies, to ensure efficient and timely collection of cash in line with Cash Forecasts and targeted DSO.
In addition you should have a mindset of identifying continuous improvement strategies for the ongoing enhancement of the function.
You will be responsible for: Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on overdue accountsSurveillance & Reporting of Late stage debt and Default accountsPrepare and Issue Stop Credit & Hold ListsWeekly/Monthly Cash Inflow forecasts in line with targetsReview of Account progressing to Late stage and DefaultAnalysis of payment performance and probability of defaultDaily Credit ReportsMake timely credit decisions and endorsements aligned to HANZ Credit policy.Proactive Collection strategy to secure sound Debt repayment plans to maximize collection and minimise doubtful debtPrepare credit submissions and recommendations for reviewHigh standard of investigative and drill down skills in identifying root cause and corrective actions and closing out bottlenecks in aged debt triggered by Claims and DisputesMajor account / projects claims and reconciliation.To be successful in this role you will have: Diploma in Credit or Tertiary qualifications in Business (Desirable but not essential)Demonstrated commercial Credit Control experienceAbility to manage major accountsStrong end to end process experienceProficient in the use of the Google (Intermediate)Previous experience with SAP Systems (Preferable)Strong administration and analytical skillsProven Negotiation and influencing skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levelsStrong Interpersonal and Professional business communication skillsSelf-motivated and outcomes-orientated with a passionate 'can do'/adaptable mind setPlease note: Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights with no restrictions on employment duration or hours.
