Credit Trading & Financing – Analyst

As a Credit Trading & Financing Analyst within the Corporate Investment Banking - Credit Trading & Financing organization, you will be tasked with supporting the Credit Trading and Fixed Income Financing teams in New York. Your role will involve analyzing and valuing a diverse portfolio of private credits used as collateral and collaborating on assessing risks of new transactions. This position offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in credit analysis and portfolio management, all within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
Job Responsibilities: Work closely with Credit Trading and Fixed Income Financing teams to analyze middle market credit investments  Perform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments and identify business risks and mitigantsDevelop draft mark recommendations for new loans into the JPM portfolio by analyzing the underlying business, the structure of the credit, the spread of the loan and all other relevant information Monitor portfolio by ongoing review of sector trends and loan assets based on quarterly financialRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Accounting or related quantitative fieldCorporate finance and accounting knowledgeExcellent English verbal and written communication skills Expert Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skillsSomeone who is eager to learn, and has great self-motivation to work and thrive on the challenge of competitive pressure Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions, daily tasks, while maintaining focus on client needsWorks well in a fast-paced team dynamic with personal efficiencyPreferred Qualifications: At leas 1 years of experience in a credit role preferred (Credit Risk, Credit Portfolio Management) Experience in Banking/ Capital Markets/ Investment Management is preferred but not required
